1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using CHIQ, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use CHIQ.
2. Eligibility
CHIQ is designed exclusively for adult women who identify as LGBTQ+ and are members of the Gen X generation. By registering, you confirm that you meet this criteria and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate and up-to-date profile information
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Community Guidelines
CHIQ is built on respect, safety, and intentional connection. You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
- Upload photos or content belonging to others without permission
- Use CHIQ for commercial solicitation or spam
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Share explicit, harmful, or illegal content
- Attempt to circumvent our safety or verification systems
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.
5. Premium Subscriptions
CHIQ offers optional premium subscription plans. By subscribing:
- You authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Refunds are subject to the policies of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play)
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design, and technology within CHIQ are the intellectual property of CHIQ and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
By submitting content (photos, text, etc.) to CHIQ, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content within the app to provide our services.
7. Safety & Reporting
We take user safety seriously. CHIQ provides in-app tools for blocking and reporting users. We encourage you to report any behavior that violates our community guidelines. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including account removal.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
CHIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CHIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or any interactions with other users.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion if we determine a user has violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of CHIQ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes through the app or email.
